GET INVOLVED - PULSE FESTIVAL

PULSE Festival is your chance to create a 3-day Festival exploring what it means to be a young person in Walsall. Working in a public space, you'll design a packed programme of all things creative, including performances, workshops, art installations and more. However you're creative, we want you to get involved. Meet other like-minded creative people, get career advice and support, try new things, express yourself, and have fun.

This might look like:

Performers creating a theatre piece to perform about experiences of growing up in Walsall

A music producer making a sound installation around the town

A dancer choreographing a flashmob

An artist transforming an empty building into a venue with a festival vibe

Dates you'll be needed:

20th-22nd August  - Workshops

30th-31st October - Rehearsals

1st-3rd November - Pulse Festival

Plus weekly Zoom sessions in September & October, taking place in the evening, day TBC

All activity will take place in central Walsall venues

A stipend of £64 (£8 per day) will be paid to all participants to make this opportunity accessible.
