​PULSE is a 3-day Festival in Walsall town centre, exploring the experience of being a young person in 2024. Created by young people, shared with everyone.

WIth a packed programme of workshops, performances, community events, and interactive installations​, PULSE Festival takes place across Walsall town centre from the 1st-3rd November.

 

The following commissions are available:

Playwrights (x2)

We're looking for writers to create a new 20-30 minute play about growing up in Walsall or a related theme that's important to them.

​

Poets (x2)

We’re looking for poets to take to the streets with us and create brand-new poetry.

 

Visual Artists (x2)

We’re looking for visual artists to take to the streets with us and create brand-new work

​

Choreographers (x1)

We’re looking for a choreographer to create a flashmob routine which will be performed in the town centre.

​ 

Content Creators (x2)

​We’re looking for content creators to take to the streets with us and capture local people’s messages to Walsall in a fun and exciting way.

​

Producers (x3)

​We’re looking for young people to help bring the event to life and share their ideas.

​​

All commissions are open to anybody aged under 24, and have a £100 stipend attached.

​

​

We're also looking for actors, dancers, singers, musicians and other performers to get involved.

​​​​
